11 Days To Afro Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Awards in Texas


The maiden edition of the much talked about Afro Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Awards is fast approaching.

All roads will lead to Houston, Texas on Saturday, October 31, 2015, as Afro-Heritage Entertainment honors Nigerian icons and legends in the entertainment and broadcasting industry.

Many people will be honored, while some will grace the event as special guests.

There will be lots of activities presiding the main event, starting from a pre-award show and the premiere of Dazzling Mirage, a movie produced by Tunde Kelani of Mainframe Films, on Friday, October 30, 2015.

Legends that will be honored on the award night are, King Sunny Ade, Dele Odule, Olu Jacobs, Yinka Quadri, King Wasiu Ayinde, Tunde Kelani, Patience Ozokwor, Adebayo Salami, Madam Idowu Phillips, Madam Lanre Hassan, Antar Laniyan,Jide Kosoko, Sunday Omobolanle (Aluwe), Seye Kehinde, and Abbey Lanre.

 Icons that will be honored are, Queen Ayo Balogun, Funsho Adeolu, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Femi Adebayo, Ramsey Nouah, Gbenga Adeyinka, Bolaji Amusan, Iyabo Ojo, Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Sylvia Ezeokafor, Emmanuella Mensah (Ghana), Muka Ray, Toyin Aimakhu, Ebun Oloyede and pioneer marketer, Demola Oyefeso from New York.

Others that will grace the occasion as special guests include, Kunle Da-silva, Bukky Fagbuyi, Doris Simeon, Rasaq Ajao-Araosan, Liz Da-silva, Olaitan Sugar, Dele Ogundipe, Mistura Asunramu-Alao, Seyi Edun, Ranti Agbaminoja and many more.
