The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari who was reported to be recovering fast in the United Kingdom after he left the country on May 7, 2017 for London on medical grounds will according to report not be returning to the country anytime soon.
The latest report comes contradicting the report of the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, who some days ago travelled to the United Kingdom to be with her husband.
Recall that Aisha Buhari had stated that the President was recuperating fast and would be back in the country soon.
Following the First Lady’s account of the president’s health, a former governor of Abia State, Orju Uzor Kalu further maintained that he met with the president during his trip to London and is certain that he will return soon.
Reuters Africa however reported that the Nigerian President will not be returning to Nigeria from his medical leave in the UK anytime soon as against recent report from the presidency which said Buhari will return last Saturday.
The report from Reuters Africa however maintained that the Nigerian President’s doctors still need to carry out more tests on him starting Monday and the results will determine his return plans.
