What sets you apart from your counterparts in the broadcasting industry?
I am a broadcaster who started from the scratch and rose through the ranks. I was a duty continuity announcer, read, edited and produced the news. I do entertainment , I have been on all belts (morning, afternoon, evening/night). I believe my work is meant to affect life positively.
Do you believe in godfather-ism as a tool to success?
Lol.. I don't believe in godfather-ism. Or should I say I do... God is my Godfather. Oh well, even though I sound spiritual right now, I can tell you for a fact that God is the one who has been helping my black behind. Lol..
What is your selling point?
My mind, voice and my uniqueness.
What keeps you going?
Water and the word of God.
What does fashion and style mean to you?
We are all models and the streets are our runways. Cultivating a personal style is something that is acquired over time. It is something that has to be nurtured. According to Vivi, "Fashion is very important. It is life enhancing and like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well."
How did you come about the name Honeypot?
I have been asked this question one thousand and one times by several people.God gave me the name because I prayed about it. I pray about everything and anything. I wanted a unique radio name and I prayed about it (Lol). I read a particular novel where a character told another that her living room is the honeypot of the house. I looked it up and it means, 'Center of attraction'. Even though a lot of people say the name is sensual, I think that makes it more attractive.
In one of your interviews, you talked about people asking you to go for breast reduction. Do people still give you such an advice?
Lol.. it was my ex-boyfriend that said so o. I wondered if he did not see girls with small boobs before coming to me. People don't give me such advice because my boobs are okay. I don't have health issues and I don't complain to people. I love my boobs and I love my looks.
