Why I Haven’t Commented On Herdsmen Killings Across Nigeria – Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has explained why he had not commented on the widespread herdsmen killings despite repeated calls for him to do so. Adeboye, who is popularly known as Daddy GO, made the clarification when he led the church’s teeming members in prayers against the killers and their collaborators at Friday’s Holy Ghost Service of the church.
.
.
He said he hadn’t personally commented on the killings because he belongs to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), both of which have leaders that have commented on the issues on behalf of their members, including himself, Premium Times reported. Adeboye, who has a doctorate degree in mathematics, then reduced the problem to a simultaneous equation.
.
.
He gave the equations as: · There are certain problems beyond man · There is no problem beyond God · Man can hide from his fellow man · No man can hide from God · Security agents can be compromised · God cannot be compromised.
.
.
His holiness is not negotiable and cannot be compromised. · Man can sponsor evil · God cannot sponsor evil According to the respected cleric, who was also a university lecturer, the answer to the equations solved simultaneously, is just one answer; which is that “a prayer warrior is more effective than an activist”.
.
.
He then led a series of prayers against the killers and their sponsors. The man of God will also lead a prayer for Nigeria at the redemption camp on February 13.
