German champions and current holders of the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich have just won their fourth UEFA Supercup.
They recorded a 2-1 victory over Europa League champions, Sevilla in the Puskas Arena, Hungary.
Bayern were made to work out their own victory as Lucas Ocampos had put Sevilla ahead in the 13th minute after he converted from the spot.
Bayern soon pushed for an equaliser and it came in the 34th minute after midfielder, Leon Goretzka scored from eight yards out.
Both teams kept pushing for what would be the decisive goal in what was a keenly contested game.
The games ended in a draw during normal regulation time and had to proceed to extra time.
The winning goal eventually came in the 104th minute when Spanish midfielder, Javi Martinez who had earlier come in to replace Lucas Hernandez headed home after a failed attempt to clear the ball by a Sevilla player fell kindly to him to head into am empty net.
This UEFA Supercup is Bayern Munich's fourth and they'll be happy they can put their last time defeat to Chelsea in the same competition behind them.
